We are so very proud to announce that our hard working Sous Chef, Peter Gunn, has won the S. Pellegrino Young Chef of the Year 2015 Australia Pacific finals. Pete’s dish of Cape Grim beef short rib with roast celery vinaigrette and garlic flowers was awarded top place after competing with a group of 10 of the finest young chefs from Australia and New Zealand. This will now see him heading off to compete in the world finals in Milan in June this year.
Pete has worked here at Attica for the past 4 years, as well as launching his own pop up restaurant, Ides.
